1. About Us
match a mood is a trading name of MATCH A MOOD LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16522323), with registered address at 124 City Road, Match A Mood Ltd, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.
2. These terms
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of match-a-mood.com ("the Site") and any purchase made through the Site. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or place an order.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order will apply to that order.
3. Products
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or withdraw products from sale without prior notice.
Handmade variation: As each bag is finished by hand, natural variations in embroidery placement, stitching, and dimensions are to be expected and are part of each bag's individual character. Stated dimensions (23 × 7 × 15.5 cm) carry a tolerance of ±1 cm. These variations are not considered defects.
Product images and descriptions: Some product images, lifestyle imagery, and visual content on the Site are created using AI-generated imagery. All product images accurately represent the design, colour, and key features of our bags, but should be taken as illustrative rather than exact. Minor variations may occur due to screen settings, lighting conditions, and the nature of handcrafted embroidery.
4. Pricing
All prices are originally stated in GBP and displayed on the Site. Prices may be updated at any time without prior notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed. Delivery charges are additional to the product price and are shown at checkout before you complete your order.
5. Orders and payment
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We will send an order confirmation by email acknowledging receipt of your order. A contract is formed between you and us only when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailable stock. If we cancel your order, we will notify you promptly and refund any payment already taken.
Payment is processed at the time of order via the payment methods shown at checkout. All payments are processed securely by our payment providers.
6. Delivery
We currently ship within the United Kingdom only. Delivery options, estimated times, and costs are displayed at checkout and on our Shipping & Costs page.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier once the parcel has been dispatched. Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you upon delivery.
7. Your right to cancel (consumer cancellation rights)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise your right to cancel, please email us at contact@match-a-mood.com with your order number and a clear statement of your intention to cancel. You must then return the goods to us within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition and packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked delivery service - we cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit.
Once we receive and inspect the returned goods, we will refund the full purchase price (including original standard delivery costs) within 14 days, using the same payment method as your original purchase.
8. Faulty or incorrect items
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or is not what you ordered, please contact us at contact@match-a-mood.com within 48 hours of delivery, including photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping where applicable.
This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be lawfully excluded.
Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the Site - including text, images, logos, product designs, embroidered motifs, and brand identity - is owned by match a mood or licensed to us and is protected by UK and international copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use any such content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
11. Use of the site
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site, or interfere with any other user's use of it.
12. Personal data
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
